Woods and Pastures

With 65 acres of rolling pastures and woodlands, you can easily spend days exploring all this property has to offer.  From unique trees and vegetation to plentiful woodland creatures, this is a great getaway from the typical urban sprawl.  Whether you prefer a walk on gently sloping grass or the challenge of hiking up and down the hills of the forest, there is something to match everyone's taste and skill level.  You may even catch a glimpse of one of the many deer, turkeys, squirrels or rabbits that call the property home.

Lower Recreation Room

Located at the bottom of the spiral staircase on the ground level is the recreation room.  It boasts leather seating, a 42" TV, a desk, a sound system fit for the finest DJs and windows that overlook the same mountains as the great room upstairs.  There is a walk out to a lower level patio with a table, umbrella and chairs.  Nearby is the shared bathroom and the three ground level guest rooms.

Screened Porch

Off the dining area on the upper level you'll find the screened-in porch.  With a gas grill and various seating options, it is a great place for summer cookouts or just enjoying the outdoors while keeping the insects away.  Dimmable lighting keeps the fun going after dark, while a ceiling fan helps keep a breeze going during the hot summer afternoons.  There are also entrances to the porch from the main deck on the upper level and outdoor stairs from the lower level next to the Patio Room.

Open Outdoor Spaces

A deck with a cantilevered horizontal railing wraps around over half of the upper level.  Starting at the main entry stairway and ending at the screened in porch, the deck is wide enough near the entrance door to accommodate several chairs and a side table for your outdoor enjoyment.  This deck provides shade for several of the lower level rooms during the hot summer sun, but is designed to maximize sun exposure during the winter.  The extended overhang on the roof provides the same benefits for the upper level.

Stairs and Hallways

In the exact center of the house the carpeted spiral staircase is situated.  The entrance to the Master Suite is located just off this area on the upper level.  On the ground level the staircase opens to two hallways and the recreation room.  Down one of the hallways is located the shared bath and the Patio Room.  Down the other hallway is the East Room and the Cozy Room.  Both hallways feature the soft on the feet cork flooring.

Dining Areas

Our main dining table seats 6 comfortably and the dining bar seats three.  The menu varies quite widely and is based on availability, seasonality and guest preferences.  We strive to provide you with a unique dining experience you might not expect in our rural setting.  Click more to see additional dining views and sample menu items.

Upper Great Room

The great room located off the main entrance to the upper floor has sweeping views of the nearby mountains.  With multiple seating areas it is a fine place to read a book, watch the plentiful birds and deer, or enjoy a movie on the 52" Plasma screen with 7 channel surround.  Open to the dining areas, kitchen, spiral staircase to the lower level and located adjacent to the screened in porch, it is the hub of our plentiful amenities.
